DAWSONVILLE - Two men were critically injured Wednesday night as they were unloading propane tanks from a truck at a business in Dawson County.
Deputy Chief Tim Satterfield with Dawson County Emergency Services told Fox 5 News the incident happened at a business off Industrial Parkway.
"One of the bottom tanks, actually, they knocked it off and when it hit the ground, it ruptured," Satterfield said.
When the tank ruptured, it then caught fire and exploded, according to Satterfield.
The names of the men who were burned were not released. Both were taken to Grady Hospital's burn treatment facility with second and third degree burns, according to emergency responders.
