COMMERCE -- The Chestatee girls cross country team tuned up for the upcoming Region 8-AAAA meet winning the 23-team and 2nd Annual Bob Roller Invitational.
Sarah Beth English paced Chestatee with a third place finish. Tori Mullinax placed 6th, Maggee Wilson was 11th, and Shelby Bennett was in the medal round also with a 19th overall finish.
Paige Williams, Yaritza Carrillo, and Abbie Cliché rounded out the field in a strong showing for War Eagles.
The Lady War Eagles next will compete on in two weeks in the region meet.
