Volleyball: Johnson wins 8-AAAA title

SUGAR HILL -- Johnson beat No. 1 seed Walnut Grove in four sets to capture the Region 8-AAAA volleyball championship Saturday at Lanier High School.

The Lady Knights avenged a straight-sets loss to the Lady Warriors with the victory. Johnson's Karis Sloan was named tournament MVP.
