CARNESVILLE -- Chestatee rallied from an early first quarter deficit to beat Franklin County 50-35 Tuesday night in Region 8A-AAA action.
The Lady War Eagles (14-9, 4-4 in subregion) trailed 10-8 after the first quarter but outscored Franklin County 24-14 over the second and third quarters. Chestatee pulled away in the fourth quarter for its second straight subregion victory.
Emily Crain led Chestatee with 13 points. Maegan Kenimer added 12 points and 12 rebounds, Erin Clifford had eight points, and Bridgette Kelly had seven points and five rebounds for the Lady War Eagles.
