DAHLONEGA -- The White County boys basketball team opened its Region 8A-AAA subregion schedule with a 61-50 win over Lumpkin County Friday night.
the Warriors (5-8, 1-0 in subregion) trailed 31-28 at halftime but turned things around in the third quarter. They held the Indians to just 19 second half points while putting the game away with a 16-9 fourth quarter run.
Andrew London led White County with 15 points. Spencer Adams had 12, and Eddie Hurst 10 for the Warriors.
