Gladiators training camp opens Friday

DULUTH -- The Gwinnett Gladiators will open training camp for the 2011-12 season on Friday with the first on-ice session scheduled for the following day at the Ice Forum in Duluth.

The Gladiators will begin camp with a closed team meeting, fitness testing and equipment assignment. Camp will run through Oct. 13 in preparation for the season opener in Florida against the Everblades at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 14 at the Germain Arena.

All ice sessions for the Gladiators ninth training camp in Gwinnett will be held at the Ice Forum in Duluth. All practices are free and open to the public. The complete on-ice schedule is included with this release.

The Gladiators will host a public scrimmage on Monday, October 10th as part of the Gladiators "Fan Fest" from 7-9:30 p.m. at the Ice Forum in Duluth.
