OAKWOOD -- Class AAA No. 9 West Hall swept a pair of matches Thursday against Class AAAAA South Gwinnett and Class AAAA Winder-Barrow.
The Lady Spartans (25-3) beat South Gwinnett 25-18, 25-20 and then knocked off Winder-Barrow 25-21, 25-11.
West Hall was led by LeNiesha Kearse with 12 kills and four blocks and Summer Schmeltz added 6 digs on defense.
West Hall next will take on North Hall, Tucker and Habersham Central on Saturday at the "Battle at the Branch" Tournament at Flowery Branch High School.
