GAINESVILLE -- Class AAA No. 9 West Hall saw its 10-match win streak snapped Tuesday night against Gainesville in an Area 8-AAA tri-match.
The Lady Spartans (23-3, 7-1 in area) opened the tri-match with 25-17, 25-22 win over Monroe Area but lost to Gainesville 25-19, 25-15 in the second match.
Stephanie Rowland had nine kills and four blocks to lead West Hall. Summer Schmeltz had seven digs, LeNiesha Kearse had five blocks, and Laykin Herford had 27 assists for the Lady Spartans.
West Hall next will play host to Winder-Barrow and South Gwinnett Thursday in a non-area tri-match.
