WATKINSVILLE -- Jefferson won for the seventh time in eight matches Tuesday after sweeping a pair matches Tuesday at North Oconee.
Jefferson beat Athens Christian 25-10, 25-14 in the opener and then rallied from a game down in the second match to beat host North Oconee 23-25, 25-11, 25-16.
Cassie Metcalfe had five aces and 12 kills and Eden Starnes added six aces and 14 kills to pace the Lady Dragons (16-5).
Amanda Daniel had two aces, four kills, and 36 assists, Taylor Cramsey had one ace and four kills, and Sarah Wood added one ace, five kills, and two assists for Jefferson. Savanna Holland had two aces and nine kills and Hannah Murphy had three aces and four kills for the Lady Dragons.
