BUFORD -- Class AA No. 1 showed off its versatility on Friday night against Therrell.
Buford had seven different players score in the Wolves' 49-0 thumping of of the Panthers at Tom Riden Stadium.
Andre' Johnson, Rick Legrant, Darrian Smith, Blake Adams, Andrew Sciara, and Deione Bledson all scored on touchdown runs for Buford (5-0). Cameron Gazaway also scored on a TD pass from Buford quarterback Sam Clay.
The Wolves (5-0) led 28-0 by halftime, mainly because of their defense, as they held Therrell to minus-3 total yards in the first half and just 65 for the game
Clay finished going 7-for-12 passing for 73 yards with one touchdown for Buford.
The Wolves will have one of their bigger challenges of the season next week when they play host to No. 4 Lovett.
