Volleyball: No. 8 West Hall sweeps tri-match

OAKWOOD -- Class AAA No. 8 West Hall sweep a tri-match against Eastside and Lanier Tuesday night.

The Lady Spartans (20-2, 5-1 in Area 8-AAA) rallied to beat Eastside 23-25, 25-16, 25-23 in the opening non-area match and whipped Lanier 25-14, 25-12 in an Area 8-AAA match.

Stephanie Rowland paced West Hall, which has won seven straight matches, with 7 kills, eight blocks and six aces. Carrie Ruis had 14 digs and Laykin Herford had 36 assists.
