Blevins to run for Hall Co. Sheriff

GAINESVILLE - Another candidate for Hall County Sheriff has come forward.

Richard Blevins announced Thursday that he's throwing his hat into the crowded race to succeed Steve Cronic who said he will not run for re-election.

Blevins has worked for the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office and state Department of Corrections.

Blevins is the fifth person to announce his candidacy for the post.
