MONROE -- Walnut Grove held Jackson County to less than 100 yards offense for the game en route to a 37-0 win over the Panthers Friday night.
Walnut Grove (1-1) led just 9-0 at halftime but exploded in the second half to put the game away.
Panthers head coach Billy Kirk called it "the worst loss in my career. We weren't ready to play and that's my fault. We will fix that for next week."
Jackson County (1-1) will play host to Fannin County next week.
