JEFFERSON -- The Jefferson girls softball team won its second straight game for the first time this season after taking a 4-0, Region 8-AA South win over East Jackson Tuesday.
Savannah Snapp paced the Lady Dragons (5-10, 3-1 in subregion) allowing just three hits and no runs while strking out nine in a complete-game effort.
Lindsey Miles and Raegen Sandy led the Jefferson offense with two hits apiece. Meagan Faulkner, Jordyn Whitfield, Snapp, Leah Pryor, and Paige Pate each had one hit for the Lady Dragons.
Jefferson next will play host to Class AA fourth-ranked North Oconee on Thursday.
