The countdown is on... you can literally feel the seconds ticking off now until the high school football season kicks off on Friday around north Georgia.
With that in mind, we present the first episode of the new "High School Sports Unlimited," a show dedicated solely to the coverage of prep athletics in North Georgia. To watch, simply scroll down and press "play."
In this week's hour-long show, hosts Judd Hickinbotham and Morgan Lee break down some of the teams that got a jump on the 2011 campaign last Friday and, of course, all the big contests slated for this week.
Look for High School Sports Unlimited every Thursday afternoon here on Access North Georgia. The show won't just be about football -- though that takes center stage this week -- it will include everything area schools and athletes are doing year-round.
You may also listen to High School Sports Unlimited on 1240 AM ESPN Radio at 6 p.m. Thursday and again at 3 p.m. Friday, as you get ready for the weekend's big games.
