Softball: North Hall edges Chestatee

GAINESVILLE -- The North Hall softball team edged Chestatee 14-12 on Tuesday night in Gainesville.

North Hall's Tiffany Hamilton sealed the victory in the seventh, belting a triple to score the winning runs.

Lady Trojans senior Courtney Gearin earned the win in the pitching circle, tossing a complete game.

Meanwhile, Melissa Adams went 4-for-4 at the plate to pace North Hall's offense, including a three-run home run and a double. Hayden Savage and Alyx Kanaday also had two hits apiece.

Chestatee racked up 14 hits on the night.

Jessie Clark helped pace the Lady War Eagles, going 2-for-3 with 1 RBI, while Danielle Stephens went 3-for-5 with 1 RBI. Ashley Trigg and Erin Clifford also each went 2-for-4 at the plate with 2 RBIs.
