GAINESVILLE -- The Lakeview Academy volleyball team swept past East Jackson and Habersham Central on Tuesday night in Gainesville.
The Lady Lions (6-2) took out East Jackson 25-9, 25-16, and edged Habersham 22-25, 25-8, 25-18.
Jamie Nixon finished the night with 30 total kills to help lead Lakeview.
Megan McIntyre added 6 assists against East Jackson, while Molly Gay scored 13 assists versus Habersham. Bailey Towles also played a key role in the win over the Lady Raiders with 11 assists and 14 straight points scored on serve to win the second set. Katie White and Mona Abraham each tallied 4 digs, while Shelby Ross managed 3 blocks.
Lakeview will play host to Jefferson and Prince Avenue Christian on Thursday in Gainesville.
