Former FSU PG Jordan enrolls at Tech

By The Associated Press
ATLANTA -- Former Florida State point guard Pierre Jordan has enrolled as a graduate student at Georgia Tech and will be eligible to play in the 2011-12 season.

Jordan, from Dunwoody High School, averaged 5.2 minutes per game in his career at Florida State. He scored 9 points in 16 games last season.

Jordan graduated from Florida State with a bachelor's degree this summer and is enrolled in building construction and facility management at Georgia Tech.
New Georgia Tech coach Brian Gregory says Jordan's ``experience and maturity'' will help the team.

Jordan (6-0, 170) never started a game at Florida State. He helped lead Dunwoody High School to two state championships.
