GAINESVILLE - "Hearts Awakened" is the theme for a pro-Israel prayer rally scheduled in Gainesville later this week.
Organized by Grassroots Friends for Israel & Hall County Prayer, it will be staged during afternoon rush-hour Wednesday along one of the city's busiest thoroughfares .
The rally is planned for 4:30 'til 6:30 at Poultry Park on Jesse Jewell Parkway and will be held rain or shine. Organizers are asking participants to "bring friends, flags, shawls and pro-Israel signs."
Speakers will include Rabbi Scott Sekulow and WDUN talk show host Al Gainey.
