The East Hall volleyball team opened its Region 8-AA schedule with a come-from-behind win over East Jackson Thursday.
Lady Vikings (6-3, 1-0 in region) started slow and fell behind East Jackson early in the first game but rallied to win 25-23. In the second game, the Lady Vikings rolled to a 25-13 win to clinch the match.
In the second match, the Lady Vikings fell to West Hall in 3 sets 24-26, 25-18, 25-16.
Brittney Cambell had five kills, 16 assists and four digs for East Hall. Kara Hix had a big game winning 21 points on serve, including 10 aces, one kill, five digs and two assists. Tarryn Long had three aces, 12 kills, three digs and 1 assist for East Hall.
The Lady Vikings next will play at West Hall on Tuesday.
