Hall County closing two satellite tax offices

GAINESVILLE - Friday, August 19, is the last day Hall County taxpayers can use the tax commissioner's two satellite offices.

Both the North Hall and South Hall offices will close until further notice because of spending cuts enacted by the county commission on June 30.

The main office in the Joint Administration Building in downtown Gainesville will remain open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays, according to Tax Commissioner Keith Echols.

In addtion, taxpayers can pay bills online.
