Judge Girardeau receives national recognition

GAINESVILLE - For his many years promoting drug courts across the country, Judge John Girardeau of Gainesville has received national recognition.

Judge Girardeau was one of four people nominated for the Stanley Goldstein Drug Court Professionals Hall of Fame.

He accepted the award recently at the National Association of Drug Court Professionals conference in Washington.
