No injuries in convenience store robbery

GAINESVILLE - Two suspects are at large after a robbery on the southside of Gainesville Wednesday night.

Police say no one was hurt in the robbery which was reported about about 11:00 at Wee Willys convenience store on Industrial Boulevard.

Lt. Nina Harkins says one of two men, wearing black ski masks and armed with pistols, "jumped the counter and took an undetermined amount of money from the cash register. The suspects then fled the business on foot traveling towards Industrial Boulevard."

Both are 5'8"-5'-10", 130-150 pounds. One was wearing a black, long sleeve shirt with dark pants. The second suspect was wearing a white, long sleeve shirt with dark pants. One is believed to have been white but the race of the second suspect is uncertain.

Lt. Harkins said there two employees and one customer inside the business at the time of the robbery. There were no injuries.
