North Georgia boys basketball camp set for July 10-13

North Georgia College & State University will hold its annual Boys Basketball Camp, July 10-13 at the school's campus in Dahlonega.

The camp provides appropriate, supervised training in the sport for players ages 8-18, with emphasis on improved fundamental skills and ability of each participant.

Campers may choose between an overnight camp o a day camp. Cost is for the overnight camp is $350 -- with an additional $35 (cash only) refundable key deposit required at time of check-in (July 10 at 12:30 p.m.). Day camp fee is $250.

Overnight campers live in a dormitory, two in a room, dine and play basketball on campus. Fees include meals (Sunday dinner through Wednesday lunch) and housing. Day campers receive the same amount of training as overnight campers. They also receive the noon and evening meals.

All campers receive small group instruction and play on organized teams, learning to incorporate individual skills into team play. All campers will be placed on a team according to age and skill level so that each camper can gain as much experience as possible during competition throughout the week. Each camper receives: Camp T-shirt, posters and other prizes, and awards for competition.
