ATLANTA -- With the announcement that Georgia Tech's Sept. 10 road game at Middle Tennessee State will kick-off at 7 p.m., game times for one-third of the Yellow Jackets' 2011 schedule have been set.
The announcement came Tuesday afternoon from the Sun Belt Conference.
The game at Middle Tennessee State will be broadcast on ESPN's internet platform, ESPN3.com.
Four of Tech's 12 regular season contests now have game times. The Yellow Jackets' season opener, Sept. 1 (Thursday) against Western Carolina, will kick off at 7:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN3.com, which is now available in 70 million homes.
Tech's Sept. 17 home game against Kansas will begin at 12:30 p.m. and will be televised regionally by the Regional Sports Network.
The Yellow Jackets' Nov. 10 Thursday night game against Virginia Tech will be nationally-televised on ESPN and will kick-off at 7:45 p.m. in Bobby Dodd Stadium.
The 2011 ACC Football Championship Game, which will be played on Dec. 3 in Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C., will have an 8 p.m. kickoff and will be nationally televised by ESPN. It will be the second straight prime time exposure for the ACC title game which drew of a crowd of 72,379 fans in its Charlotte debut last year.
