BRASELTON - The planned widening of a major road in Jackson, Barrow and Gwinnett counties will be the subject of an informational meeting in Braselton next month.
The Town of Braselton will host the meeting June 16 on the proposed widening of Braselton Parkway Extension.
Plans call for widening an almost two-mile stretch of the road to four-lanes with a median from I-85 to Thompson Mill Road.
At the meeting, people will be able to look at plans for the project, ask questions, and comment on it. The meeting starts t 4:00 and will continue until 7:00, will be informal and the public is invited to attend anytime during these hours. There will be no formal presentation.
