DURHAM, N.C. -- Severe weather has forced the Atlantic Coast Conference to adjust the schedule for the league's baseball tournament.
The Virginia-Miami game is tentatively scheduled to resume at 6 p.m. Friday with the North Carolina-Wake Forest game to follow it.
The Virginia-Miami game was suspended with Miami leading 2-0 in the bottom of the second inning when thunderstorms deluged the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
The league also said the Florida State-Georgia Tech game will be played at 9 a.m. Saturday in the opener of a quadrupleheader. That game originally was scheduled to be played Friday afternoon.
