TOCCOA - U.S. Rep. Paul Broun (R-Ga.) Friday announced the opening of two Disaster Recovery Centers (DRC) in Georgia's Tenth Congressional District, one in Rabun County and the other in Morgan County.

Those who are victims of last week's devastating storms may seek assistance at the following locations:

Morgan County
Morgan County Parks and Recreation Department
1253 College Drive
Madison

Rabun County
Clayton Municipal Complex
837 Hwy 76 West
Clayton

"The Disaster Recovery Center in Morgan County is already up and running, and the mobile center in Rabun County will open tomorrow (Saturday) morning," Broun said. "If you are a victim of the recent storms, you may visit a center from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. any day of the week. Members of my office will be present, working alongside local, state, and federal agencies, to help you navigate through the recovery process."

Residents and business owners who sustained losses in Morgan, Greene, Habersham, and Rabun Counties may register online at www.DisasterAssistance.gov or call 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) or 1-800-462-7585 (TTY) for the hearing and speech impaired.

The toll-free telephone numbers will operate from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Sunday. Individual assistance may include grants to help pay for temporary housing, home repairs and other serious disaster-related expenses. Low-interest loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration also will be available to cover residential and business losses not fully compensated by insurance.

Individuals and families limited to smartphones and other mobile devices may visit m.fema.gov and follow the link to "apply online for federal assistance."
