LAWRENCEVILLE - Another $1.5 million is headed to Gwinnett County to help pay for damage caused by a September 2009 flood, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Gwinnett County officials announced Friday that the money will pay for repairs to drainage culverts and bridges that were damaged by flood waters. The additional funds are coming from the Federal Highway Administration and the Georgia Department of Transportation.
The Georgia Emergency Management Agency has already doled out roughly $4.7 million to Gwinnett County for previous repairs.
