GAINESVILLE - Supplies and a mobile kitchen rolled out of Gainesville Tuesday morning, headed to Ringgold which was hit hard by the storms that tore through Georgia last week.
"We're relieving a crew that has been there since the day that the tornadoes hit," Gainesville commander Lt. Matt Cunningham told the Bill & Joel Morning Show on WDUN Tuesday morning. "We'll just be ministering to and helping where we're needed. We'll be feeding people and helping distribute supplies that corporations have given."
Lt. Cunningham again appealed for monetary donations to the Salvation Army tornado relief fund.
