OAKWOOD -- Johnson took advantage of 11 walks to go with eight hits in an 11-1 rout of Monroe Area Wednesday in Region 8-AAA.
The Knights (9-11, 8-10 in region) A.J. Benefield led Johnson at the plate with two doubles and three RBI and picked up the win on the mound.
Chris White added a three-run homer. Win Griffith had two singles. Logan Pethel added an RBI double. Trae Wilson and Jordan Green also had one hit each for Johnson.
The Knights next will play host to Oconee County on Friday.
