ATLANTA -- New Georgia Tech coach Brian Gregory has added Atlanta native Chad Dollar to his coaching staff.
Dollar was an assistant this season at Wichita State, which won the NIT championship. He previously worked as an assistant at Georgia Southern, Murray State, LSU, Arkansas State, Eastern Kentucky and Western Carolina.
Dollar's father, Don, won three state championships at Atlanta's Douglass High School. Chad Dollar's brother, Cameron, is the head coach at Seattle and former player at UCLA.
Gregory says the Dollar name "is well known in basketball circles" in the Atlanta area.
Dollar played at South Florida and Milligan College, where he earned his bachelor's degree in sociology in 1996.
Gregory was hired last month from Dayton to replace Paul Hewitt.
