Strong storms possible

UNDATED - A strong storm system could move into the Gainesville area tonight bringing with it thunderstorms and damaging winds.

"Damaging winds will be the primary concern with this storm system," The Weather Channel's Jennifer Nittoso told the Georgia News Network. "(Also) isolated large hail, isolated tornado threats is there. We are under a slight risk..."

Nittoso says the storms should begin to move into northwest Georgia around 8:00 tonight and move through metro Atlanta and other parts of north Georgia after midnight.
