GAINESVILLE -- Chestatee scored seven goals in a 22-minute span in the first half en route to an 8-0 win over Monroe Area Friday night in Area 8-AAA girls action at War Eagle Stadium.
The Lady War Eagles (11-3, 6-3 in area) got a hat-trick from Alexis Rebollar in the first half with all three goals coming in a four-minute span. Sharon Sotelo, Shannon Grossman, Kelsey Neukum, and all had goals in the first half explosion.
Rachel Wright scored the only goal in the second half with just over two minutes left in the game.
Neukum finished with three assists, and Rebollar, Sotelo, Jessi Stephens, and Elaine Miklos each had one assist for Chestatee.
The Lady War Eagles defense also held the Lady Hurricanes (1-13, 0-10) to no shots on goal for the game.
