Boil water advisory lifted

CLEVELAND - The boil water advisory in White County was lifted Wednesday afternoon.

The county water authority discontinued the advisory at 1:30 after test results showed the water was okay. It had been in place since 6:00 Tuesday morning.

Both the water authority and the City of Cleveland issued the notices, as required by the state Environmental Protection Division, following regular maintenance on a pump at the White County Water Authority.
