AUBURN, Ala. -- Georgia coach Andy Landers says Florida State star Cierra Bravard has size, skills and teammates who get her the ball.
Landers says that combination makes the 6-foot-4 Bravard difficult to defend, but that's the task facing the sixth-seeded Lady Bulldogs' in Tuesday night's second-round matchup at the Auburn Regional.
The third-seeded Seminoles must find a way to keep Georgia's own interior presence, Porsha Phillips, off the boards. Phillips is averaging a double-double.
Both players are first-teamers in their respective conferences.
Bravard had 23 points and 13 rebounds against Samford in the first round Sunday. The Lady Bulldogs' Jasmine Hassell will shoulder the bulk of the responsibility in guarding her.
