The Lakeview Academy soccer teams split a pair of matches against Georgia Military College Friday night.
The Lady Lions whipped GMC 4-0 behind a pair of assists from Lindsey Brock. Jamie Nixon, Liz Kenny, Elise Biegler and Carly Kenny all had goals fro Lakeview (5-2, 1-1 in Region 8-A). Mona Abraham got the shutout in goal.
The Lakeview boys fell 2-1. Tyler Kimball scored on a cross from Nathan Zottnick and redirected by Chandler Fox. The Lions fell to 3-4-1 overall and 0-2 in region play.
