The Johnson girls tennis team lost just six total games in taking a 5-0 win over Monroe Area Thursday in Region 8B-AAA action.
In singles, Cady Nix beat Jasmine Atkinson 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 while Harlee Robson whipped Taylor Mitchell 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles. Claire Crain beat Arianna Taylor 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3 to complete the singles sweep.
In doubles, Emma Rowlett and Carlyn Ivey blanked Jobre Peeples and Ceelbert McKenzie 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 and the No. 2 team of Karina Rivera and Kelly Chance took a 6-1, 6-2 win over Laren Knox and Erin Floyd.
