Soccer: North Hall holds off Lanier

SUGAR HILL -- North Hall scored two second half goals to pull away for a 3-1 win over Lanier Friday night in Region 8-AAA girls soccer action.

The game was tied 1-1 at halftime after an Alden Powell goal an Alex Lawson assist.

Taylor Knight scored off a Kelley Miller assist and then Emily Smith put it away for the Lady Trojans (4-4, 4-1 in region) with a 35-yard free kick goal.

North Hall next will play host to Lumpkin County on Tuesday in a 8-AAA match.
