OAKWOOD -- The Johnson girls soccer team recorded its second straight 10-0 Region 8-AAA win Friday night, this time over Franklin County.
The Class AAA ninth-ranked Lady Knights (7-0-1, 6-0 in region) scored all 10 goals in the first half before the game was eventually stopped because of the mercy rule.
Kayla Madsen had four goals and two assists to pace Johnson. Kayln Dumanowsky had two goals and three assists for the Lady Knights.
Bethany Johnson, Karolina Guzman, Emily Byers, and Savannah Turk also scored for Johnson. Leslie Moon, Bethany Johnson, and Ana Torres each had one assist for the Lady Knights.
Johnson next travels to Stephens County on Tuesday for another Region 8-AAA match.
