ATLANTA - The state Supreme Court has refused to hear further arguments in a suit filed by Jackson County against the authority that oversees the Bear Creek Reservoir.
Confirmation came Friday from a court spokeswoman.
At issue is whether the authority should recalculate the amount of water that the reservoir can provide. The matter now goes back to Jackson County Superior Court.
Jackson is one of several northeast Georgia counties that get water from the reservoir.
