The Johnson girls tennis team whipped Forsyth Central 4-1 Wednesday afternoon.
The Lady Knights swept the singles with Cady Nix beating Holly Hamlin 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 and Maggie Turner beating Jesse Hamlin 6-0, 6-4 at No. 2. Harlee Robson completed the singles sweep with a 6-0, 6-3 win over Chloe Okeloat No. 3 singles.
The No. 1 doubles team of Claire Crain and Carlyn Ivey beat Caroline Heard and Kara Duncan 6-1, 6-2 while Forsyth Central's CC Louiziare and Monica Suarez rallied from a set down to beat Ryleigh Shannon and Emma Rowlett 4-6, 7-5, 6-3 at No. 2 doubles.
