GAINESVILLE -- White County swept the singles matches in taking a 3-2 win over Chestatee Tuesday.
Sara Beth Cummins of White County defeated Fernanda Arcaraz in No. 1 singles 6-4, 6-0. Hannah Kidd won 7-5, 1-6, 6-4 over Lila Kiang at No. 2 singles and Taylor Freeman beat Brooke Reynolds 6-1, 6-4 at No. 3 singles.
The Lady War Eagles dominated the doubles matches with Emily Elder and Sarah Beth Tankersley winning 6-0, 6-0 over Heather Herdliska and Rachel Black in the No. 1 match, and Carly Dale and Lauren McNitt defeated Emma Harris and Breanna Harkins by the same 6-0, 6-0 score in No. 2 doubles.
