One church arson trial postponed

WINDER - A Barrow County Superior Court judge has postponed the trial of a minister accused in the torching of his own church.

Quincy Arnold's trial is being delayed because he has a new attorney, according to Barrow County Clerk of Court Regina McIntyre.

However, his son, Maurice, is still scheduled to go on trial Monday in Winder, also charged in the fire nearly six years ago at New Life Deliverance Church.

Prosecutors say the motive for the fire was to collect insurance money.
