Tennis: West Hall boys blank Lanier

OAKWOOD -- The West Hall boys tennis team shut out Lanier 5-0 Tuesday in Region 8B-AAA action.

the Spartans (4-0, 1-0 in subregion) lost just six games as a team.

In singles, Brenden Worth defeated Hendu Agenor 6-2, 6-1; Max Wilson beat Kevin Wagner 6-1, 6-0; and Connor McFall beat Spencer Wallace 6-2, 6-0.

In doubles, Tatum Scroggs and Min Kim whipped Sal Roach/Kris Hedrick 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1. Ryan Casey and Grayson Kyle beat Nick Kerr and Dameon Singleton 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2.

West Hall next will play rival Johnson on Thursday.
