Pedestrian fatality name released

GAINESVILLE - The name of the woman killed when she was hit by a car in the East Hall area Wednesday has been released.

69-year-old Syble Grindle of Gainesville struck and killed about noon. The accident happened near Grindle's home in the 4500 block of East Hall Road.

East Hall Road was shut down for a time because of the accident.
