MT. AIRY -- Flowery Branch may be peaking at just the right time.
The Falcons won their third straight game, and first Region 8-AAAA game, with a thrilling 51-50 win over Habersham Central Tuesday night.
Flowery Branch (7-14, 1-4 in region) trailed 27-22 at halftime but used a 14-5 third quarter to tie the game at 36.
Marquise Wise had 11 points to lead the Falcons. Rudy DeAza had nine points for Flowery Branch, which has four of its last five games.
Pat Burns led Habersham (14-6, 3-3) with 16 points. Kevin Ellison added 15 points and Brian Owen 11 for the Raiders.
