Human bones found in Forsyth County field

By The Associated Press
CUMMING - Forsyth County authorities said human skeletal remains have been found scattered in a wooded area near McFarland Road just off Georgia 400.

Capt. Tim House with the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office said the bones were found shortly after 3 p.m. Friday. House said it's too early to determine how long the bones may have been there or how they had gotten scattered.

Deputies plan to return to the site Saturday to continue the investigation.
