ACKWORTH -- Chestatee used a 22-10 third quarter to rally from a frist half deficit to beat South Paulding 59-56 Thursday in the Lake City Classic tournament at Allatoona High School.
The Lady War Eagles (9-3) trailed 18-15 after the first quarter and 28-24 at halftime. But they got things going in the third quarter behind Emily Crain and Erin Clifford to take a 46-38 lead into the fourth quarter.
South Paulding cut into the lead late but could not catch Chestatee.
Crain finished with 20 points to pace Chestatee. Clifford added 16 points and Danielle Stephens had eight for the Lady War Eagles.
