Late in the second period, Gwinnett notched their third goal of the second period with a floating pass from Nikita Kashirsky to Justin Milo who crashed the crease and slid the puck under the glove hand of Grubauer. Milo picked up two points (one goal, one assist) on the game. The Glads held the Stingrays scoreless into the final period of the game.

Forward Brian Brutlag scored the final goal of the game for the Glads with the help from Colin Vock at 12:01 in the third period. The Glads skated to a 4-0 shutout over the Rays.
